Chinese manufactures have been struggling to till the very end of their resources to compete in all segments of the smartphone market. Mi has been an active participant in this regard and today stands as the first company to introduce a 108MP Penta camera setup. The phone is filled with a handful of exciting features and is priced at approximately $460.

The excitement begins with the display which is 6.47” AMOLED display. The screen has a dot-drop notch which features a 32MP selfie camera. It can come in very handy for taking selfies showing even the smallest details of your facial features. Courtesy goes to the AMOLED display which allows the device to provide an always-on display using Mi’s specially designed icons and imageries. The front screen as well as the back, both are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass which provides excellent insulation against scratches and minor to moderate bumps. Also, an in-screen fingerprint sensor is embedded within the curved-edge display.

Moving at the back, the most noteworthy component is the AI Penta camera. This sensor collection is crowned by a 108MP ultra high-resolution sensor which is for the first time being introduced in any production device. Five camera sensors have already been observed in the P30, S10 and Note 10 series but none of them contained a 108MP sensor. Other sensors include a 5MP telephoto camera able to provide up to 10x hybrid and 50x digital zoom. A 12MP portrait camera allows users to take DSLR like shots very precisely. Further, a 20MP ultra wide-angle and 2MP macro camera are also part of the set. Additionally, innovative options as Night mode 2.0 and Vlog mode are included in the software.

Mi Note 10 houses a humungous 5260 mAh battery which is more than enough to run through 2-days of vigorous usage. The device uses a USB Type-C reversible charging port. A 30W charger is included in box which can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in a mere 65 minutes duration. It has been a long time since IR blasters were introduced and discontinued by many manufacturers. Xiaomi is the only company which still includes IR blasters in its devices. Same is the case with Mi Note 10 which has a remote-control sensor on the top edge.

Improved performance is provided by the Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor. The effect is even more exaggerated by the massive 6GB RAM and 128Gb of internal storage. The phone is available in three colors of midnight black, glacier white and aurora green.
